As part of the community Julian has been involved with many local organisations over the years in sport, politics and other charitable organisations. This has involved being on governance boards, policy formulations, media spokesperson, coaching and other roles.
Julian knows how important it is to fundraise and how difficult it can be to source funding or help, so freely gives his time to charity organisations including being sought after by many groups as a Master of Ceremonies and Charity Auctioneer.

60 Hour Buildathon for I Am Hope
We had the pleasure of working with James South, a local 25 year old builder who had the idea of building a 63m2 tiny home in 60 Hours to fundraise for the I Am Hope and Gumboot Friday Charities. Not only were we proud to donate our services free of charge to make sure as much money as possible gets to those who really need it in our communities, we were able to get him and those charities a dream result, with one swift swoop of the hammer, this amazing project came to a $210,000 finish!
